Credit: Salesforce Salesforce is renaming its AIForce agent platform to SIForce, chief executive Marc Benioff said on Friday, as Katherine Li reported for Business Insider. “The era of Super Intelligence is here. AIForce is officially SIForce,” Benioff wrote on X. The change covers the agent platform only, not the company’s name.
Following the president’s lead Benioff is the second big tech boss to fall in line this week. Last Sunday, Elon Musk said SpaceXAI would be renamed SpaceXSI. Both moves follow Donald Trump’s push to replace the term artificial intelligence with super intelligence. A 29 September executive order told federal agencies to make the switch in official documents and websites.
The order does not apply to private firms. But on Thursday, Trump went further. Anyone who still says “artificial intelligence” is “THE ENEMY,” he wrote on Truth Social. A name is not a threshold Superintelligence usually means systems that are far more capable than humans across many tasks.
Renaming a product does not show it meets that bar, Business Insider noted. The push also leaves firms with AI in their names, such as OpenAI and Scale AI, in an awkward spot. Neither responded to Business Insider.
